Nordic Walking

…walking with poles, in summer and winter, to have fun in a healthy and active way. Nordic walking (in English, also called pole walking, in Italian camminata con bastoni) is a type of physical and sporting activity that is practiced using specially designed poles, similar to those used in cross-country skiing. Nordic walking in its original form uses a unique and natural style, based on the work of Marko. The cadence of arms, legs, and body is very similar to that of fast walking. Opposite legs and arms alternate rhythmically, swinging back and forth. It is important to correctly learn the rhythm and cadence of Nordic walking from the beginning to achieve the desired results. The amplitude of the arm movement back and forth regulates the length of the step. Limited arm movement also limits the movement of the pelvis and consequently the length of the step. Increasing the length of the pole increases the swing and movement of the pelvis and torso, ensuring greater and healthier movement of the entire body. This practice can also be carried out in winter on easy but very scenic routes
