PRIVATE SKI AND SNOWBOARD LESSONS
Duration: individual lessons last 55 minutes
Absence of the student: in the event that the student does not show up for the appointment with the instructor, the paid lesson will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Early cancellation: lessons can be cancelled by notifying the ski school office by 4pm on the day before the start of lessons. In this case the advanced amount will be fully refunded.
Cancellation on the day: in case of cancellation on the day or after 4pm on the day before the lesson will be refunded only if resold.
In the case of lessons with underage students, a parent, or person exercising legal authority, must show up at the instructor’s meeting point five minutes before the end of the lesson. Otherwise, you will have to pay for the next lesson.
GROUP SKI AND SNOWBOARD COURSES
Minimum number of participants: in the event that the minimum number is not reached, or the number of participants decreases during the week, the management reserves the right to cancel or modify the duration of the course:
– SKI OR SNOWBOARD courses (from 6 years and above and adults – 10am-12.45pm): minimum 5 students per instructor / maximum 12 students per instructor
– BABY SKI courses (4-6 years beginners – 10am-12.45): minimum 5 students per teacher / maximum 8 students per teacher
– FULL WEEK SKI or SNOWBOARD courses (10am-3.20pm): minimum 5 students per instructor / maximum 8 students per instructor
Absence of the student: the group course is sold as a weekly package. In the event that the student does not show up for the appointment with the instructor, the day will not be refunded or converted into another type of lesson.
Cancellation:
a) cancellation of a course that has not yet started: upon notification to the ski school office by the day before the start of the course, the advance sum will be fully refunded;
b) cancellation on the first day of the course by 10am: upon notification to the ski school office by 10am on the first day of the course, the advanced sum will be refunded minus 20%;
c) cancellation once the course has started: the portion of the course not used will be recognized from the day following the cancellation, upon communication to the ski school office. The amount to be refunded will be reduced by 20%;
d) cancellation due to illness/accident: the portion of the course not used from the day following the cancellation will be recognized exclusively upon presentation of the medical certificate (with doctor’s stamp);
e) cancellation for conversion to private lessons: the unused course fee will be recognized minus 10%, which can be used in private lessons, even for a student other than the one on the course;
Weather conditions
- Both private and group lessons take place in any weather condition.
- In the event of closure of the designated facility, the lesson will NOT be refunded if it can be moved to another facility of the same level.
- The refund will be carried out only if the weather situation prevents the opening of ALL facilities.
Insurance
Accident insurance for the first intervention is included in the price.
Fiscal detraction
The purchase of ski lessons at ski schools or freelance ski instructors DOES NOT fall within the category that gives the right to the tax deduction for children between 5 and 18 years old; the deductible expenses for registrations for sports courses are valid only for amateur sports associations, a category which does not include the Ski School.
Mandatory helmet
When practicing alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark, sledging and tobogganing, it is mandatory for anyone under 18 to wear a protective helmet. It is important that the helmet complies with the technical requirements contained in the UNI EN 1077:2008 standard and that it is CE marked.
